New website

We're live!

After a few delays and setbacks, we're eventually live with our new website.  It's been a fair old mission and we're basically there, barring a few missing descriptions and images!

The new site is back at www.18bikes.co.uk and includes online shopping, news and some pages with general information about our shop and what we do.

We're now running a live stock setup, so barring any human errors we should be spot on with "in stock" being just that.  Many of the products we sell are ordered in specially for customers and we've aimed to show realistic time frames against different brands/products for that too.

Almost all of the bikes that we offer are now listed, extensive ranges from Santa Cruz and Marin along with the Hope HB160.  Our demo fleet has grown somewhat recently and you can see details of that here.

Frames aren't forgotten, we have Genesis, Santa Cruz, 18 Bikes and new Pipedream options there too!

Not to forget the range of parts, components, shoes and accessories that we have.

The new site is much more mobile friendly too, given that we're all on phones and tablets more and more these days.  We've tested on a variety of devices and operating systems, but please do let us know if you spot any problems.  Likewise with spelling mistakes or problems in listings - we're only human.

This is just the beginning, we have many more items in stock in the shop that aren't yet listed on the website, so expect much more to be added over the following weeks.  We're planning;

- More brands, including KS, Fox and Magura

- More news stories and blog action

- A section on the local area and nearby trails

- A section explaining the work we do regards MTB advocacy in the area, working with Peak District MTB, Ride Sheffield and Keeper of the Peak.

But we're also open to your ideas.  What would you like to see more of?  Any particular stories or features that might appeal?  Please let us know!
