No9 Bosch Performance Line SX prototype

We currently manufacture our No9 hardtail (on sale now!) in Sheffield but we're wanting to expand into full suspension and eventually ebikes. As a first step on that journey, we wanted to try the Bosch Performance Line SX motor and the easiest way for us to do that was to use the No9 as a starting point

While this frame is a test and there are quite a few things that we wouldn't do for production it has allowed us to pack a lot into one frame so we can see what the new SX motor is all about. This frame is based on our No9 so it has the same geometry as the 475mm size, except the seat tube is a tiny bit longer. It also has the same Reynolds 853 front triangle and Deda rear end, as well as the same modular dropouts.

For more details on how the frame was made, check out the story on Pinkbike
