Last in the model launches from Santa Cruz this year is the new Tallboy.  Along with its Juliana Joplin cousin, the Tallboy gets the tweaks and features you'd expect to bring it in line with the rest of the current range;

- size specific carbon layup, chainstay length and seat angle

- Glovebox storage with tool roll and tube pouch

- new suspension tune with lower anti-squat

Other than that ,the Tallboy's still "The Downhiller's XC bike" - with progressive geometry in a snappy, short travel package.  The type of bike we love here, sitting very much in the vein of the Mondraker Raze, Hope HB130 or Santa Cruz 5010.  Less travel doesn't necessarily mean less fun - quite the opposite in many cases!
