New demo bike - Starling Murmur!

We have a new demo bike at last - with several changes to the build idea, we've now built up a demo Starling Murmur and it's good to go!  Starling have a range of simple, UK made single pivot bikes with an attitude of versatility and a good degree of adaptability and futureproofing.  By swapping fork/shock size you can change the travel of the bike - either as a more permanent swap or just to try things out!

The Murmur is a 29" bike with 135mm rear travel.  We've gone for a Cane Creek Tigon rear shock and matched that to a Helm fork with 150mm travel.  That Tigon shock is the same length and stroke as we have on our suspension bike prototypes, so expect some swapping around to try different ideas there!

We've chosen to use this bike as our example of the superb new Shimano XT range - so the new Di2 wireless shifting and M8200 4-pot brakes give reliable, consistent shifting and braking.

For wheels, the lovely locals at KOM have sorted us out with a set of their Xeno hubs which we've built onto shop favourite DT EX511 rims.  Conti Kryptotals finish things off there.

One Up complete the build with their V3 dropper, carbon bar, stem, grips and EDC tool.

Not a bad build, we hope you'll agree!  This bike's available to demo from the shop - £80 for the day which is refundable against a bike or frame purchase.
