Hope EVO GR4 Brake - No Rotor - Braided

Hope’s latest range of brakes takes the excellent Tech 4 platform and adds a few tweaks to both Master Cylinders and Calipers to bring even more power and consistency.  There’s also 3 different lever blade options available (supplied separately) - so you can pick between big power and reach, or loads of feel and control - or somewhere in between with the standard lever.

This is the EVO GR4 - “Four-piston gravity brake for the most demanding applications.”

Think big power for downhill and heavy-duty ebike use.

Hope Tech 4 EVO Master Cylinder

• NEW lever cam to give faster initial bite while maintaining top-end performance
• NEW additional main piston guide bush for smooth lever feel and consistency
• NEW bleed port (takes the thread-in Hope bleed cup)
• NEW lever blade options.  Fitted with Standard lever, Control and Power levers sold separately.
• Tool-free bite point and reach adjusters

Hope EVO GR4 Caliper

• NEW larger pistons than previous V4 model
• NEW revised bore cap design to give more frame clearance
• One piece machined caliper
• Not compatible with Hope Vented rotors

Includes

• Brake lever/master cylinder assembly
• Braided 5mm hose
• Caliper with pads
• Spare olive and insert
• Hope Standard Red pads and Racing Green pads
• Supplied fully assembled, bled and ready to fit, although with full length hose

As with all Hope brakes, these are designed, tested and manufactured in house by Hope in Barnoldswick in the UK.  Spares are available for a decade after a Hope product is discontinued - so these are built to last and then be repaired as required, even many years down the line!
